Aluminium Curving

In addition to the ability to treat the surface of aluminium in a wide variety of ways, aluminium profiles can also be curved, which makes them ideal for any type of application.

Aluminium Curving Process

Grosvenor Curving is the application of the extensive Grosvenor range of Aluminium Alloy extruded sections formed into arcs and can be utilised in a variety of applications. This will assist to address the problems encountered with columns, curved walls, suspended ceiling applications, and any other challenge that requires a non-standard solution.

Aluminium Curving Machine

Made from Aluminium Alloy to AA6063, most sections can be formed both "toe in" and "toe-out" and most sections can also be formed either concave or convex. A minimum radius of 250mm can be achieved on the majority of sections, whilst curving trials may be required on more unusual sections. There is in general no limit to the maximum radius achievable. Column rings will be supplied in two pieces to the size required but will have an allowance on each 30mm longer to allow for any "on site" adjustment.

All sections will have a certain amount of flexibility, which would allow for them to fit the built item even if they vary slightly on the specified radius.

Aluminium curving allows so much flexibility and makes any design challenge achievable so please do contact us to discuss your aluminium application and we'll be able to advise on how Grosvenor Curving can help you.
